If you’ve ever considered showing your pure bred dog in a competition, you might like the following story in the WCFCourier. The story, entitled Vying For Top Dog, has a good perspective on the whole dog show circuit. There are certainly big differences between Westminster and the Waterloo Kennel Club competition. But the spirit is usually the same. Great dogs, nervous owners and lots of fun. Even though our dog Scout’s dog show days are probably over, we still like going to shows for the drama, the fantastic dogs (check out the Beagles at the Waterloo!), and the fun.
