It has been a while since we posted a photo of our little Scoutie. Here is a recent shot of him relaxing after a long walk in the woods.
So many people have asked how he is doing in the wake of Daisy’s passing. He is doing wonderful. When Daisy passed away, he could sense that things were strange. However, Scout was able to view Daisy at the vet’s office (after she passed away), so we like to think that he understood what had just happened. He seemed a bit cautious and timid the first couple of days (perhaps just responding to our grief) but as the days went by, he returned to his cheerful, affectionate self.
The joyful, playful nature of Scout brightens our days and we feel truly blessed to have him in our family. We promise to post more pictures of our beloved Scout this summer!

Glad to hear Scout is doing well after your loss. It can be so hard for many dogs to adjust. Thanks for sharing!

Our little Scoutie is soooo adorable!!!!!!! What a great photo of our boy.
He is so playful and loving and we love his snuggles and fantastic energy. Proud grandpaents to Scout, M and R

Great to see the picture of scout and know that he’s doing well. Sounds like you two are, also. Maggie misses you and would love a Michigan vacation!
