We have posted many blog entries about taking your dog to work. The benefits can be extraordinary.
For us, of course, our dog Scout is with us all day long and we wouldn’t have it any other way. He loves to test out new products (toys and treats are his specialty), he especially likes to inspect all of our packages that come in to the warehouse, and he definitely lets everyone know when a delivery driver is coming. He is our Chief Canine Officer.
A recent article in the Port Clinton News told the story of another “company dog”, miss Lady Roxanne Rompsalot. Roxy is a 3 1/2-year-old field-bred English Springer Spaniel that likes to go to work with her owner, Dr. Keith Seibert. Dr Keith is a chiropractor, and his patients love to see Roxy hanging out during their visits. In fact, the presence of Roxy in the office helps his patients to relax. One could say that Roxy is a patients best friend!

I work in an office and my 1.5 year old Norwegian Elkhound walks into work with me almost every day. (most of the) People here love her…there are some who are afraid of dogs…imagine that!…but she’s great therapy after a tough day.
