“This is Bob as the Headless Horseman’s horse. I am Linda his human (also known as Bob’s makeup artist, automatic door opener, gourmet cook and best friend). Bob is a rescue dog who was going to be put to sleep because he had a been hit by a car and had a broken shoulder, emaciated and mange from head to tail. With the help of our great veterinarians, I nursed Bob back to health and now he lives a great life with his dog and cat sisters and brothers. He has lots of land to explore and play on. He is the most loving dog. Bob is a cross between Rottweiler and Chocolate Lab.”

I forgot to add that I made his costume. I made the Headless Horseman from scratch, the saddle and bridle and his hoofs. I didn’t make the clothes that the Horseman is wearing. He loves to get dressed up!

This is the best pet costume I have ever seen. Your dog is beautiful, may God bless you for saving his life! Can you give me an idea of how you strapped the costume around him? I have a yellow Lab who I would love to dress up like this for halloween. If I start now….. maybe I can make one by then.
