Last night was inventory night. At PupLife.com, we do a physical inventory every couple months or so to make sure that our site accurately reflects the inventory we really have in our warehouse. Our dog Daisy goes to sleep fairly early so she usually misses out on all the fun.

However, last night our younger pup Scout got to stay up late for his first inventory night and he really got a kick out of it. For the first time, he was able to check out every single product we carry. Toys and treats that are stacked on shelves were all taken out and counted, so Scout (of course) had to sniff and inspect every product line personally.

Suprisingly, a couple new favorites emerged that we never would have expected. Scout took a liking to a six pack of Tennis Balls for Dogs. He went absolutely crazy for them, chasing them around the warehouse most of the night. It was the first time he had seen bouncing balls on a cement floor. At first he was amazed and then he had a blast retrieving the blue ball, then the red one, then the green one, etc. Sometimes the simplest toys bring the most joy.

Doing inventory was never so much fun. It almost makes us look forward to the next inventory night!
